Patagon Journal is looking for a journalist who is passionate about producing content about nature, the environment, travel, Patagonia and outdoor sports to serve as our Digital Editor and Community Manager.
A successful candidate will have excellent writing and editing skills; proven success managing and producing social media content and knowledgeable about strategies for improving brand awareness and growth; capable of making graphic design materials like digital flyers and media presentations, as well as editing audio and video content.
Responsibilities include:
- Writing and editing articles for our magazine and website.
- Managing our social media accounts, producing quality content that attracts more readers to the magazine.
- Managing our website and assisting in the transition to a new website.
- Helping to recruit new writers and develop stories for our digital platforms.
- Assisting with other tasks as needed, such as podcasts, events, marketing, or other magazine-related activities.
Position may be full-time or part-time.
