Participate in the 3rd Patagonia Photo Contest!

Patagon Journal announces the launch of its 3rd Patagonia Photo Contest. 
 
The contest is open to amateur or professional photographers, from any country, that are interested in contributing photographs of the incredible beauty of the Patagonia region of Chile and Argentina. 
 
You may submit photos from now until January 31, 2017. Each participant can present two images in each of the categories: NatureEnvironmentTravel & CultureOutdoor Sports, and Instagram. This year the Environment category is international, meaning we want to receive environmental photography depicting eco issues from anywhere on the planet. 
 
Our esteemed panel of judges includes three of the world's best photographers, each with extensive experience working in Patagonia: Celine FrersBrian O’Keefe and Pablo Valenzuela.
 
Prizes
We also have fantastic prizes this year. The grand prize winner will receive a trip for 3 days and 2 nights with Chile Nativo to go trekking in winter in Torres del Paine National Park. They will also receive a stay at Hotel Remota in nearby Puerto Natales, and a trip on the Navimag cruise ship that travels along the southern Patagonia coast from Puerto Montt to Puerto Natales. 
 
The 4 first place winners in each category will receive a gift card for use in the Patagonia stores of Chile. 
 
The winners of second place in the 4 categories will receive handmade sunglasses from Karün.
 
The Reader’s Choice award winner will receive courtesy of Tompkins Conservation a stay of 2 nights for 2 persons at their lodge in Valle Chacabuco of Patagonia Park
