In our cover story of Issue 28, we focus on the works of three photographers – Ramiro Torrents, Francisco Woloch and Tad McCrea – dedicated to capturing the beauty and essence of the Fitz Roy mountain range, which straddles both Los Glaciares National Park in Argentina and Bernardo O’ Higgins National Park in Chile. Like the legendary photographer Ansel Adams, who for decades made Yosemite National Park his primary canvas, these three photographers come back year after year to Fitz Roy to capture some of its natural magic. They share with us some of their best images, and tell about their challenges and earned insights in carrying out their photographic mission at Fitz Roy.
