During our holiday to South American, we ventured down to El Calafate and took a tour out to Los Glaciares National Park, home of the famous Perito Moreno Glacier which attracts hundreds of thousands of tourists each year. We also watched the glacier front calving for some time. If you are going to Argentina, I would highly recommend getting down to Perito Moreno Glacier.
