The eastern South Pacific population of southern right whales has less than 50 mature individuals and seven females.
Since 2003, the Southern Right Whale Project, conducted by Centro de Conservacion Cetacea seeks to generate the conditions for the long term recovery of this Critically Endangered population.
In 2010 the outstanding results achieved by the project were recognized by the Future for Nature Award of Netherlands.
Still, there are many challenges ahead and the project needs all the support it can get.
Because THEIR future is OUR future... support us!
