This past Oct/Nov 2006, Vermont adventurers Brian Mohr and Emily Johnson spent five weeks skiing and camping - on assignment for Backcountry Magazine - in the wild mountains above Chile's Rio Baker Valley. The heart and soul of Chilean Patagonia, and home to a proposed Patagonia National Park, the wild and beautifu Rio Baker Valley is also threatened by a poorly planned, hydro-electric development - a project that, with your help, can be stopped.
