Hidden away in Cerro Castillo are some works of art that could be over 7,000 years old! At the national monument The Hands of Cerro Castillo are hundreds of hands painted by the native Pehuenche hunters and gatherers. How and why they painted these is still a mystery, although Nibaldo Calderón, a guide in the area, explains some of the hypotheses. "We can think of many things, and I think that all can be positive," he says.
