San Pedro 311, Puerto Varas, , Lakes Region, Chile
Mitico Puelo is only accessible by water or air; produces its own energy and, with dead wood from the banks of Lake Tagua Tagua, cooks and heats. The comfort of its facilities, and the wine produced on-site – exclusively from the Patagonian forest - can be enjoyed after a great day of fishing on the rivers Puelo Alto, Manso or Traidor, or on one of the small ponds formed by the large meanders of the river, which offer a great location to fish rainbow trout, brown trout, and trout-perch, a native species. Added to these are big Chinook salmon which visit the river in October, November, March and April.
